Contact life on a DC circuit depends on the voltage being broken, not only on the current, so three duty points are published for this contactor instead of one headline figure. At 450 VDC the contact set is good for roughly 10,000 operations at 150 A. Raise the breaking voltage to 750 VDC and the same current gives about 3,000 operations; at 1,000 VDC the rating shifts to 100 A with around 1,000 operations. Mechanical endurance is far higher — approximately 200,000 operations — because the coil and the mechanism are not what limits life once arc energy rises. As the relay manufacturer we publish endurance at each breaking voltage, so the figure you plan around matches the way your circuit actually operates.
YongNeng is a relay manufacturer supplying signal relays, latching relays and high-power relays, together with a high-voltage DC contactor line that runs from 16A up to 400A. Because our range covers everything from light switching duty to heavy DC loads, buyers can consolidate several switching positions with one supplier instead of sourcing each rating separately. Power relays are offered in sealed and open construction, and contact wiring is arranged for straightforward installation. Tell us the current rating, switching duty and mounting space your project needs, and we will help you match the right relay or contactor to your build.

A standard relay is built for lower-power control and signal switching. This high voltage DC relay handles the opposite job: breaking a direct-current power path where an arc forms as the contacts open. That is why the contact set is larger, the chamber is sealed, and the load ratings are quoted for DC breaking rather than for a light control load.
Start with the continuous current your circuit carries, then look at the peak it can see, because a high current relay is usually stressed far more by the switching event than by steady current. If those two figures leave little margin at your system voltage, move up to the 200 A or 250 A unit; if 150 A already covers the duty, this model keeps the panel smaller.
Yes. The contacts sit in a sealed chamber filled with high-purity nitrogen, supported by a neodymium-iron-boron permanent magnet that helps drive the arc away as the contacts open. There are no parts inside to clean or adjust, so the unit is treated as a sealed assembly for its whole service life.
It is a low-power contact that mirrors the state of the main circuit, so a controller can confirm that the contactor has closed or opened. Use it for status feedback, interlocks or diagnostics. It is fitted at the factory, so ask for it when the contactor is specified rather than planning to add it later.
Choose the coil that matches your control supply: 12, 24 and 48 VDC versions are available. If the supply is shared with other devices, give us the voltage you actually measure at the coil terminals rather than the nominal figure, and note whether it stays steady through the switching cycle.
It is rated for ambient temperatures from -40 °C to +85 °C with no condensation, and it withstands the shock and vibration levels typical of vehicle-mounted and equipment-mounted installations. Keep the chamber area dry in installations that cycle between hot and cold, and let the mounting carry the load rather than the leads.
