This high voltage DC relay is built for the point in a circuit where a live DC bus is connected and disconnected on command rather than left permanently closed. The contact chamber and the coil drive sit in a frame that stays compact for the current the contacts carry, so the unit fits alongside busbars, fuses and control gear in the same cabinet. Lower ratings in the same series follow the same construction, so a design that moves between power levels keeps familiar wiring and panel practice.
YongNeng is a relay manufacturer supplying signal relays, latching relays and high-power relays, together with a high-voltage DC contactor line that runs from 16A up to 400A. Because our range covers everything from light switching duty to heavy DC loads, buyers can consolidate several switching positions with one supplier instead of sourcing each rating separately. Power relays are offered in sealed and open construction, and contact wiring is arranged for straightforward installation. Tell us the current rating, switching duty and mounting space your project needs, and we will help you match the right relay or contactor to your build.

Match the contact rating to the continuous current your DC bus carries, then check the short-duration peaks your system can produce, such as inrush into capacitors or a motor start. The YV series steps down through lower ratings, so if your continuous current sits well below 400 A you can move to a smaller model without changing the wiring and panel approach. Sizing close to your real duty keeps the unit proportionate to the load instead of oversizing the switching position.
Yes. The main contacts take no polarity, so one contactor serves a path that charges and discharges, such as a battery pack switched through a single device. It also removes the risk of a wrongly oriented connection during assembly or a field replacement. Base the rating on the continuous current in the heavier direction.
Coil leads leave the housing at 300 mm as standard, and other lengths can be built to suit a specific panel layout. Tell us the measurement you need when the order is placed, so the leads are made to that length rather than adapted on site. As a relay manufacturer we treat lead length as part of the build specification rather than a field modification.
It is a signal-level contact that follows the position of the main contacts, so it suits monitoring inputs, indicator lamps and interlock logic rather than a load-carrying circuit. Keep its wiring separated from the main power cables so switching noise does not reach the control side of the cabinet. If your control circuit draws more than a signal-level current, switch that load with a separate relay.
A high voltage DC contactor like this one is designed to switch higher-current, higher-voltage DC power circuits, while a standard relay is normally used for lower-power control or signal switching. That is why the contact system here is built around a large DC load and the arc it creates when the circuit opens. If your circuit carries control-level current only, a smaller relay from the range will do the job.
Confirm the continuous and peak DC current, the control supply that matches the coil version you need, and the mounting space and clearances around the fixing points. It also helps to say whether the panel needs the auxiliary contact, because that choice changes the build you receive. Send your panel drawing and we will check the fit against the contactor's dimensions.
